It is time to give thanks. Whether you’re gathered around a table with family this year, sharing a meal with friends, or sitting alone at dinner, being thankful still matters. Even in hard seasons, we’re called to give thanks. Within every moment — good or painful — there are lessons, opportunities, and invitations to grow.
I strive to stay grounded in gratitude, taking a few moments each morning during meditation and prayer to acknowledge the things I’m thankful for. Today, I’m thankful for the year that has passed.
I’d like to start the list of things for which I’m thankful, but I would love to see what others are Give Thanks for.
This year, I Give Thanks for:
- Thankful for the remains
- Thankful for the pain
- Thankful for the losses
- Thankful for the lessons
- Thankful for the pruning
- Thankful for the growth
- Thankful for the strength
- Thankful for the wisdom
- Thankful for the healing
- Thankful for my family
- Thankful for the protection
- Thankful for the guidance
- Thankful for the faith
- Thankful for the battles
- Thankful for the perseverance
- Thankful for the year
- Thankful for the preservation of who I was always meant to be
